Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to connect grownups. Why grownups? Grownups are a unique market with more needs and more benefits for those who meet those needs. We have broken our efforts down into two complimentary market segments: the homeowner and the active adult.

While it may outwardly seem easy to meet the needs of grownups, in our ever busy lives with obligations pulling at us from every angle, opportunities to expand our personal experiences are often pushed to the side just meeting daily demands in our lives.

Serviance Media recognizes this and is delivering web sites that work by making the connecting easier and more beneficial to each user. Here's how:

Homeowners: A large portion of our population lives in housing governed by some form of association: whether it’s an informal neighborhood association or one of the many condo or homeowner associations in existence. But, dig a little deeper and you will learn several important things: we don't know who our neighbors are or have convenient ways to communicate with them. Enter the Serviance Media series of neighborhood websites. All are designed to help neighbors connect with neighbors in an advertiser-supported model, and just like television networks – free to the viewers.

Active Adults: We all have hobbies, things we want to learn to do, and people we want to keep up with. We have numerous web sites available to cater to each specific need, but the problem is we just don't have time to keep up with all these different web sites. After awhile we have signed up for so many that we forget what some of them are. And now comes “social networking” - a phenomenon generated by our kids which allows us, to a small degree, to accomplish the staying connected part. But, there are two problems with this: first, the common social networking sites are dominated by kids, but they are not really oriented toward grownups and their interests; and second, as grownups we are not content to sit at our computers for hours on end just messaging back and forth. We also need direct human interaction.

For this market we have created a series of web sites where grownups can meet online connecting with old friends and meeting new friends; where they can share their interests and hobbies or go exploring new areas of interests and hobbies. And, when they are ready, our users can join in established live meetings (or establish their own) expanding their life experiences. Participation can be as frequent as our users desire. Get too busy with life and need to take some time off? No problem, just come back in a few weeks or a few months and find all your friends still participating on the web site – where our users can jump right back in.
